Painter and sculptor, I was born on March 11, 1966 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. I studied Graphic Arts, at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale (FL) and Visual Arts, at the Université du Québec in Montréal. I also took part in sculpting and  bronze casting, (2008) in Creuse, (2010 and 2012), in Hossegor and (2017), in Mornac sur Seudre, France.

Art is my playground, my place to be curious, to learn, to engage my mind and my hands. Influenced by both naive art and artists such as Jean Dubuffet, Niki de Saint-Phalle, Angel Botello, and Fernando Botero, I often express myself in forms and colors that are generous and contrasting. My curiosity quickly led me to mix techniques and materials to give interest to the characters that populate my creations. I am drawn to the subject to the unrealistic, “the Alice in Wonderland” perception of things. I focus on ideas that do not make perfect sense, but resonate on the emotional level, through bold shapes and colors.
