Paper mache wildebeest head handcrafted with recycled paper and eco-friendly cassava starch glue. The last layer of paper is a print from “Le Pere Goriot” by 19th century French writer, Honore de Balzac. The colors are made with dyed paper, not paint.

There is a small, clean puncture on the back of this paper mache wildebeest trophy. Use a soft dry cloth to wipe it clean.

The wildebeest is an antelope. It is also called gnu It belongs to a family that includes antelopes, cattle, goats, sheep, etc. There are two species, both native to Africa: the black wildebeest or white-tailed gnu, and the blue wildebeest or brindled gnu. Our fake taxidermy gnu is a new species of the paper mache family!
